[WISH LIST] How to add more Details in the Info Area and a Comment function over Participants list was created by Aerosol

Hi all,

i find this brilliant Extensions in the directory but i got some problems with that. I want to add some more Details in the Information Area.

Something like a link to the forum topic for a discussion about the event.

And/or a comment function over the participant list, i tried it with facebook comments and it works but i don`t want to use any other socialmedia plugin.

In the Attachment is a screenshots from the demo website with the positions of the features i want to add.

Is there any way to add this features by myselfe? thanks for your help!

Hi!

About more information, it is in the roadmap to have personnal fields in the futur (but not in the next months to come... still over important work on main features, and enhancements)

Maybe, you can have a look at the Roadmap of developpement to get more infos : www.joomlic.com/forum/icagenda-announcem...e-in-future-versions

You will see facebook comments and jcomments in project (but maybe for end2013 or start 2014)

If you mean an integrated system of comments all in iCagenda, this is not in my project...
I think better in futur to be able for users to use one most used system.

About your screen shot, i'm not sure to have understand your question : you mean to change order of elements on the event details view ?

With the screen i just want to show where i want to build in the personal fields and the comments.

And to build in Facebook comments in one event is realy easy, i will tell it. Maybe anybody want to use it in this way.

1. Install a plugin like this extensions.joomla.org/extensions/social-...ocial-comments/16412

2. Configure this Plugin

3. Put {fbcomment/} in the last line of your event destription

4. Use Facebook Comments with iCagenda :cheer:

For me it won`t work, because of a main feature of my website. It`s an Invite only site and so, all sites are just for registered people. I think facebook don`t like it, if it can`t visit the side where a plugin is used and so i get an error message. But it still work.

I guess i will wait for a plugin for jcomments ^^ And my forum link, i can build in the event descripton

Thans for info for other users ;-)

About facebook, i mean too to add a plugin to able it in iCagenda, so that users won't have to used other extensions.
About jcomments, i will need to test it, as never use before, and this will be possible when i will have more time, only after major features to come will be implemented. (adding event in front-end, new date logic to optimize iCagenda, more advance registration system, personnal fields...)

Yes of course, it's possible today to use description field to add extra contents, that can be too image gallery, video, or else if content plugins not exclusive to articles)
