When I want to register an event in public mode (ACL) - I can register as visitor (I have to write my name, email, phone...)

When I want to register an event in registered or special mode (ACL) - I can register only as user (It isn´t possible to change the name, email, phone...). That´s a pity, because when I want to register my friends, it isn´t possible.

I would like to ask for any solution.

That's a normal behaviour! B)
And recommended one, if you set access to registration only to registered user!
If you're login, this normal to have your joomla profil information.

Just what you expected, is maybe one of the future developpement and features that will be added in the future: personal field.
So, with this future option, you will be able to create field for name of the person coming with you, but not be able to registered them in participant list.

But, why you don't register your friend when not log in ? :huh:

Thanks for your answer.
Yes, I now it is normal behaviour!

However, our site is for public and private users (members of community). All private users use the same login/pass for login. They get it by mail. We don´t have and don´t want to have a possibility to register any new user. The option to view and register an event shoul be only for registered users (threfore the possibility in public mode we can´t use), however they use the same login...

I only suggest an option:
- to use info of the user in event-registration-form (name, mail...)
- to don´t use = user will write it himself (name, mail)...

I think it could be interesting from another reason: Many user use an username/name, that doesn´t content the right info... and by event registration they could write their true info...

Okay!

I understand now why!

SO, this could be an option added in a next release (and i add it in my roadmap)!

To do it now, in a easy way, just change all :

value="'.$u_id.'"

by
value=""

value="'.$u_name.'"

by
value=""

and
value="'.$u_mail.'"

by
value=""

in file : ROOT/components/com_icagenda/view/list/tmpl/registration.php

Be careful, when this option will be added in a next release, this will be set by default as file the field with user info log in ;-)

Thanks,
good idea...

However I have to change (delete) "disabled" too...
For my example I can use simple syntax which is used by "phone"
