Hello, and thank you for the free component.
can you please let me know if it is possible to move member registrations from expired events to new ones - saving the registration having to be entered again?
and also the ability to copy (duplicate) an existing registration in case that person wishes to go into multiple events and has only registered on 1. Happy if this has to be done in the backend by manager/admin? just need to know if it can be done please?
Many Thanks
Eno.

Hello and thanks!
Currently, you have to do this in database via php admin.
But, as it is mention in the roadmap topic in annoucements forum, i've planned to add in the future (the months to come) a possibility to edit registered user (and so, change event, date, email, or else...)
Today, i'm on the last change in the next release 3.1.9 (really soon available) and will just after release the RC version (access to RC beta only for Pro Users) with the "Submit an Event" in frontend feature! (this will be available for free users too, when 3.2.0 will be declared as stable by the Pro users who will test this feature)
Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.8
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!

Thank you for the quick reply, Looking forward to the release of your next version?
Just a question on that, I have modified my language php files on both frontend and admin backend - if we use the automated update (when its released) will that overwrite the language files or only core files that you have modified? - basically - should i need to copy my language file off before i do an update on your component?

Yes, update will override core language files of iCagenda, but you may don't know the fantastiv feature since Joomla 2.5 !
Watch this video, and you will see that language changes could be done very easily (this video is added in support/tutorial videos on joomlic.com website
