I release 3.7.0 in a hurry, and as Joomla 3.9 with Privacy tools was not ready, i did it to be GDPR compliant.
Unfortunately, i forgot to add the option for Gravatar which will be added in next 3.7.1 with option :
- Auto (as it is now in 3.7.0)
- Show
- Hide
For now, as this is a not-required option, you can use this custom css to hide it in the registration form :
#jform_consent_consent_gravatar-lbl,
#jform_consent_consent_gravatar {
display: none;
}
I'm sorry for this inconvenience, i will release a 3.7.1 as soon as possible.
But i truly recommend to use 3.7.0 if you have EU resident users, as the 3.7.0 is saving privacy consents in database.
In all cases, the behavior you have was not expected! (on update, it should be have turn off).
