Hi there,

if i generate a List of Events for the same Weekday (in the same Location) i created it with the "Einzel-Event" button where you select only the Date and starttime and add a block of other Dates with the same Description and same Location etc. If you click on each Event you have different Dates but with the same Text. Is there a way to edit this Text for each event after creating it ofer the Multible component ? Or i have to create each a single event for it ?

Thanks for an answer
Jens

Edit : By the Way. Is there a Option (in the Backend) to Highlight a Event with multiple events in it ? Or it is possible to expand that event by pressing a "+" ? if you look in the Eventsettings (in the backend) you´ll see only the "main" event.

Hi!

I'm not sure to have understood...

If you mean one description per date in the same event, no that's impossible. (and would be difficult to manage as a possible developpement...)
In that case, you have to create one event for each description (when on edit view of one event, you can use copy/paste to speed up the process ;-) )

Could you explain this with more infos ?
Do you mean with the new option "all dates for each event" (menu option new in 3.2.8) or when using only next/last date view ?

This could be insteresting to have more infos, as possibility of a good idea ;-)

No, that´s not what i mean :) I try ist other :

We have 3 different Locations (Churches) witch have sundays a Prayservice at 10 am or 11 am each week. So i have make for each Church a Multiple Event (only a Date witch starttime) with one Discription. Its happend, that there are different Passtors there to speek. If you look into the "Mai Event" you´ll see se followup Dates in the Infowindow. The Desription of each Event ist the Same as the mainevent and you´ll cant change them for exemple change a Name or what ever in the "under Events". So it would great if you can change a Discription for each Event (out of the Multiple generated Event)

This create Field i mean "Einzel-Event" and than add that you have multiple Events creation. -> www.joomlic.com/media/kunena/attachments/1278/Event.JPG

And that´s my idea for that (see attachment)

If you create a Multiple Event you only see the Main Event in the Backend (and the following are listetd at the End of the Infosheet). In the Frontend there ist the new Option named "all dates for each event" so you can see all Events (the Main Event and the followed Events from that). But you can only edit the Informations for the Main event. If the Treefunktion not to realise it would helpfull all events will shown in Backend, tooo (like in the Front end with "all dates for each events").

Hope thats Explain is better :) If not, let me know *g*

Yes, it is clear!

But so many things in brain currently, so don't have an idea yet about how to implement this, and if possible with my main developpement roadmap...

Will thing of it when time during holidays, and keep you informed if i can integrate a solution in roadmap, and how it could be (or not) done.

Thanks for your contribution!

Keep in touch ;-)
