Aren't you using a too old version of iCagenda ?...

I don't see how spammer could register... There's field filtering, and checking to prevent that!

Is it possible to transfert me one or more example of spamming of the form ? (i mean notification email you have received)
Does a spamming is regitered in user list in admin ? (it should not!)

In all cases, i will see to add extra control in next release.
In the future, i will add a captcha option.

But be careful your website is not hacked !
I tell you that, because of of the website used by one of my client (and with no iCagenda installed) was hacked a few months ago due to a vulnerability in JCE editor (fixed since this time!).
The consequence was a spamming using the joomla core form! (because of some files hacked)

The hack could be strange picture in images folder, htaccess file not joomla core ones! (often in some folder where there's no htaccess) or one hack possible, due to a past Joomla core vulnerability could be the file framework.php

You can find hacked file when strange code in it encode_64

Hi!

I will add more security to prevent registration page to be displayed if event is finished or not published.

This will be added in 3.3.0, released in 10 days (i will be away from 11 to 14, but code already done! I will just add some other features for 3.3.0, which version will be the start version of registration improvement!)
