Currently running a Joomla 2.5.9 website based on Bowthemes 'Folio' template. I have tried various 'diary/calendar' components, and am currently using DPcalendar, However, recently coming across ICagenda, I thought this is exactly what I had been looking for!
It installed fine and I was able to create categories and events. However...I have a problem....
In module manager I assigned it to the template module position and ICagenda displays beautifully showing the current date and the event dates highlighted in bold numerics. Now, here's the problem....if I then click on the actual event date...nothing opens. The mouse pointer changes to the expected 'active-finger' but....will not open. Changing to 'mouse-hover' also has no effect.
BUT.....if I first select and open the events list from a drop-down user-menu-item...which then lists the events.....the bold date numeric on calendar DOES become properly active and DOES open!
Also, surprisingly, if I 'open' my previously installed DPCalendar from the drop-down user-menu....the bold date numeric of ICagenda DOES open too!
So in summary, my problem is that I have to select either the ICagenda menu item (or the DPCalendar) FIRST, before the BOLD event date becomes properly active and opens. Sorry...hard to describe.
Any thoughts, ideas and comments would be appreciated.
