Hi,
What would be the easiest way to send a newsletter with a list of the upcoming events for a certain period.
I would like to send an automated monthly newsletter with the events of the next month...
Kind regards,
Kurt

Hello,

The best way :
- AcyMailing extension (there's a free version and advanced commercial ones) : site
- And install the iCagenda AcyMailing tags plugin (downloadable in plugins page of Acyba site)

And then, you will have many options to integrate a list of events ;-)

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.8
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.

Hi,
It's looking good so far.
Just one remark/question.

The plugin doesn't seem to be responsive-friendly (correct me if I'm wrong :) ).
I used one of the standard responsive templates of Acymailing.
But the images of the events aren't resized automatically.
I ended up by configuring the resize of the pictures to a width of 280px.
But then again, if you select to show the venue, it shows the venue name and the address.
And it looks like that line isn't cut off.
The same with the "dates" vs the "ndate" filed.

It's just a detail, besides this, it works extremely well !

Greets,
Kurt

Hi,

To be honest, i didn't test it in responsive newsletter template...
But maybe their support could help you ? I think it's possible as you have options to add styling to your list of events (with a width: 100% on image ?).

For info: didn't have enough time to check their plugin, but i've planned in 1/2 months (when 3.6.0 will be more advanced and almost ready) to do a period of test on AcyMailing, and to start to work with its developer to prepare future version 4 of iCagenda (a full new system of dates is in preparation, and it will change things a lot, by adding more flexibility, more options, and more easy to get data and generate events list from the plugin ;-) )

Regards,
Cyril
