Unfortunately, it's not possible with current version fo iCagenda and using Joomla translation system...

- an alternative could be to use Falang, or JDiction (xml files needed here: icagenda.joomlic.com/resources/addons
- another translation extensions... (some don't need special files as Falang or JDiction need)

But your comment is good, and never thought of that (and never one person to report me such possible issue...)
I will take this into account for future development, and will see when possible to add this improvement (with maybe association of events...)

About demo site, this is because this one was built before registration exist, and events are unique, set in "all languages" (no translated events).

J-Hotel Reservation solution is maybe nice, but limited for a full multi-language system when using the logic of Joomla multi-language.

What is sure is that it won't be possible today with no associations integrated in iCagenda, but too, due to the current structure of iCagenda frontend.
But in 3.6.0 currently in dev process, the frontend structure was full refactoried to allow a much more flexible base to add future improvements.
One of those improvement is to add associations as Joomla manage it and/or to find a more easy way to manage it when using Joomla multi-language (which i don't find it easy, for example, to manage articles...)

In all cases, Falang, jdiction, nenotranslate... are much more easy to manage a multi-language than Joomla system is, because you don't need to dupplicate content, menus, items... each time for each language!

Do you have ever tested one of those extensions ?

Do you know that Falang, is Joomfish (in fact, as Joomfish development was abandonned for Joomla 2.5, Stéphane has adapted Joomfish for Joomla 2.5. under a new name "Falang", and since then, he is maintaining and improving this extension )
So, Falang is very similar in the way it works than Joomfish was
