Hello,

This is not a iCagenda problem and not a joomla problem, but an internet problem today!

So, the best way to fight against spam in forms, is to add the captcha solution

First, you can enable the Joomla captcha plugin (you will need to get a key from Google. All information in this Joomla plugin. You can find too other captcha plugin on the JED if you prefer another one )

Then, in global options of iCagenda, go to General Settings tab. There select the captcha plugin you want to use in iCagenda forms.

After that, stay in the global options of component page, and go to "Registration" and "Submit" (if you use it) tabs, to select the option to display or not the captcha solution.
This is the best way to protect forms against spam.

Note: the catpha plugin can be used to with Joomla core forms (registration...)

BUT, first : Update!

You are using an old version of iCagenda (very old one... and many improvements done since the 3.2.2!)
So, by updating iCagenda, you will have already better spam protection even without a captcha plugin
