I have set up an event which happens over a period but I have included the single dates so that I can include the times for each event, but it is displaying two events now for the one.

Hello,
So, if you set the event like this, and the option "display all dates" in the menu item options is turn ON, the event will be separated into 2 different events.
You can turn off this option if you want each event to be displayed only one time, even if multiple dates.
