Could you give me some examples, as for me, when searching for specific place (Tour Eiffel,...) i've gote the full address easily.

I've got the same result...

In fact, just realize that Google Maps has added some places elements (Tour Eiffel...) in the address variable.
But many places names are not in address.

The problem is that the current script i'm using for autocompletion is not getting place_id and so not able to search by place's names.

I have planned later a refactory of the Google Maps script, to allow more. In the same time, i will more develop my own solution, and not limit it to a third party plugin.
I will add the places search at this moment.

Don't ask me a deadline, as i'm working on so much other developments, that it's not possible to answer this question

If i had a wuick solution, i would have given it to you

In fact, as i'm currently using a external library to manage Google Maps, and as this one does not include places in auto-suggestion, i would have to checked this in Google Maps API (and means to take time to learn about the most recent improvements of Google Maps api).
I prefer to wait the time i will focus on the full refactory, as better this way, than finding a little hack for an external library, i will stop using in the future for another system full new, and more advanced. (i'm working on so much things to improve iCagenda, that i try to not lose time to improve some parts i have planned to fully refactory later )
And unfortunately, no one has updated this script since 3 years : github.com/sgruhier/jquery-addresspicker (so that's a reason i want to create my own one, in which i will be able to add exactly what i want, and what could be useful for users of iCagenda :cheer: )
