There was never a 2.5.6 version of iCagenda (the latest 2.x.x version was 2.1.14 on May 2013....)

Hi,
Sorry for being unclear. I'm looking for the latest version of iCagenda that worked on Joomla 2.5.
For background... I got a message in the admin panel saying that there is a new version of iCagenda available (I'm still on Joomla 2.5) After updating it seemed that this update was not meant for Jommla 2.5 but was for 3.0. Now my site is down because of this :-)

Ok i see!

You talked about Joomla version...

So, yes an issue in some cases with latest iCagenda 3.6.8 and Joomla 2.5 (i see i already posted about this on the French forum, but not on English as i thought...)

The patch (due to a Joomla api issue in cases of empty post array, fixed since a long time in Joomla 3...) will be included in next 3.6.9 release coming soon, but already attached the 3.6.8+patch for Joomla 2.5 so that you could install it now! ;-)

BUT: Joomla 2.5 is end of life since 2 years.
I really recommended to upgrade to Joomla 3 as soon as possible!
And take attention that next iCagenda 3.7.x won't support Joomla 2.5, so all future new functionnalities and improvements only now planned for sites running Joomla 3 at minimum.

You're welcome!

About Joomla upgrade, you could be afraid (it's normal) but the best is first to follow docs step by step, and do the test on a copy of your website.

In many cases (90%) this upgrade goes very well, and in a short time.
And after this, going to Joomla 3 is only an happy experience : all is better, faster, and nicer ;-)
