do you see a chance to get this repaired??

i have used a backup - but ist still does not work. all other pages in the site are ok. it is obiously in the agenda-component.
the problem is that there are 156 events. it will be a lot of work to add them all again.

Didn't see your email before, as i've got a filtered email box to prevent missing "priority" emails...

So, clearly there are things broken on your site.

If you have the data for events in PHPAdmin, so do an export backup.
You will have then all copy.
You can so uninstall iCagenda and install again.
Then import back the sql backup in database.

You can of course export only #__icagenda_*** tables

The important is to get a backup of all iCagenda tables (but if issue elsewhere, a full database backup + 1 Akeeba backup will be more secured to not lose data).

So my recommendation:
- Backup (full site (with Akeeba Backup) + database (with PHPAdmin))
- Check backup if ok
- Uninstall iCagenda, clear cache, and install back iCagenda
- Import iCagenda database tables data.

It was of course the best way to process when database is broken (and in this case, often difficult to know exactly when the issue happened...).

But now, good to know that you managed to make your site ok again!
