[SOLVED] Layout differences J3x to J5x a été créé par steveday

Joomla 5.2.4
iCagenda 3.9.9 (free)

I am using iCagenda 3.9.9 on Joomla 3.10 12 and have now moved to J!5.x, version is also 3.9.9

On J5x I have set all the settings to the same as J3x (as far as I cal tell) but... there are still differences to the final displays on each...

On the displayed Events List the event date box is much smaller on J5 and is not clickable as it is on J3. Can I make it bigger? Can I make it clickable?
Also on the J5 Event List the text event dates are missing from each event, (I only see 1 date in the date box) on J3 they appeared on bold under the event title and indicated a range of dates - how can I get these back on J5? This was very useful it the event spanned 3 days.
On J5 the Event details displays differently as well - on J3 it was in a series of 'shaded boxes', on J5 it's all in one. While not a big issue I think it looked better on J3... Any way back?

Is there a reason why things seem so different on J5 as compared to J3 for the same release version of 3.9.9...????

I have attached a png of the same event from J3 and J5 showing the different event box size and missing event dates...

Hello,

The theme packs for J3 to J5 are exactly the same.

The only things that could be different will be due to the site template.

But... you just used the "ic_rounded" theme pack on J3, but your screenshot for J5 uses the "default" iCagenda theme pack.

So, you just have to go the the menu item options of the link to the event list, and change theme pack option from default to ic_rounded.

I checked the menu options for the theme pack, it said default so after changing it to ic_rounded it now displays all the same aspects as my J3 site... didn't realise it made such a difference! I thought I'd already set ic_rounded - seems not!
