Are you working on localhost ?

What is your server ? (windows, linux, ... ?)
Your php version too ?

This may be an error due to email configuration, or redirect because your server not accept htaccess, and you will need to configure web.config.txt (you can find information on joomla documentation)

About the white page (error 500 on Google Chrome) i've added a fix in next release 3.0

But it could be good to set your web.config, if you're on windows server, to be able to use SEF properly.

Yes i mean smtp server about email. iCagenda is using PHP mailer from Joomla.

Do you have tested if sending email with joomla is working ? (for example, create a new user and see if you receive the notification email)

Note for all: white page is fixed, but in the future, i will see to add a function to inform user when email sending from joomla is not well configured depending of the server.

For most users, the default joomla settings work, but on some servers (and also localhost) must be set to send email via SMTP (this is often simplified with a gmail address)
