Hi there! I'm testing your component for a migrate to Joomla 2.5 and am very pleased in how your extension looks so far. My idea of using this agenda is for a small runningclub for our traininglocations and info about the training.

I have a (little) request:

In the Geolocation it is now not possible to get directions by clicking on the red arrow. is it possible to get a directions-option? In the agenda I use now in J! 1.5 this is possible, the difference is that the Geolocation is opened in maps.google.com in the current frame.

What do you mean by "get directions by clicking" ?

Can you give a link where i can see an example ?...

Sure, if you see this eventpage:
loopgroep-arnhemia.nl/trainingen-wedstri...iningen/313-papendal

There you can click on the right on "Toon kaart evenement" (Show event map) and you get sent to google maps:
maps.google.com/maps?f=q&geocode=&q=52.0...rnhem&event=Papendal

Here you can click on the red A to get driving directions. I can imagine that driving directions for events can be usefull, at least for me. :whistle:

I don't know if you can get this functionallity into iCagenda...

Hi Lyr!C.

Any luck in finding this option? It should be possible because my current calendar is using it. I guess it would be handy for people attending events, the can easily find a route to the event address.

Yes, i think it's possible, but until now, i didn't have time to look at all the API from Google...
But i'll do in 2013 !

I'm sorry... :whistle:

I'm currently working on "Submit an event" and adding "permission access"... a big work, and not yet time to see about Google Api...

But, if someone read this post, and know well developpement and Google Maps Api... and want to give his contribution to the project, he can contact me !

Hi!

Thanks for the link, this could be useful.

Not yet having time to enhance Google Maps, but will see this when enhancements of dates management and registration will be really advanced!
I want to add zoom detect option, and type (roadmap, satellite...)

So, will keep this link for when i will work on Google Maps!
