Hello,

I think you have a jQuery conflict somewhere...
Are you on Joomla 2.5 ?
Is it possible to provide online link to the page with the issue ?

Thank you!
Cyril

I have the same problem recently after I've updated my iCagenda extension for Joomla 2.5.x

I managed to to solve my problem by installing JQuery Easy: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en...jquery-scripts/18327

Then in your plugin manager, type "jquery" to search for your System jQuery Library. Click on it to find out your current jQuery Version (e.g. in my case, it is "jquery-1.7.1.js"). Disable this System jQuery Library and click on the "Save & Close" button.

Next, Click on "System - jQuery Easy". On the right-hand section, click on "JQuery" radio-button to Enable JQuery, select the same jQuery version as above. (in my case jquery v1.7 (latest version)". Enable the Status and click on the "Save & Close" button.

Now refresh your site and see if it works.

Hope that helps. Good luck! :)

I'm not sure about the JQuery Library used in Joomla 3.4.3. The name of the plugin could be another. Just do a search for "JQuery" in the plugin manager. Disable this plugin which could be causing the conflict.

Then install JQuery Easy, set it to "JQuery v2.1 (latest version)" and try again.

If it still doesn't work, then you may need to provide an online link to Cyril to let him check the problem for you.

Hello,

The plugin is to be downloaded and installed (it's not in joomla core, but a third-party extension).

But, you are on Joomla 3, so such conflict is not supposed to exist, excepted if you have another extension installed, which is not well coded for Joomla 3.
Please, attached a direct online link to the page, and i will check this in code generated ;-)

Regards,
Cyril

@dgoh : thank you !!! yes, on joomla 2.5, the plugin jQuery is really useful, as jquery conflict could often happen (not because of wrong code, but because Joomla 2.5 doesn't integrate jQuery (Joomla 3 does! So it's a very good idea to upgrade to Joomla 3, as Joomla 2.5 is already end of life since 7 months) and when an extension wants to use jQuery, it has to load it itself (and checking could be done as iCagenda does, but it's not 100% sure to work, so that why a plugin, well written as Jquery Easy is, could help do have a clean Joomla 2.5 site!) ;-)
