Event order - Multiple events on same day è stato creato da neuroscot

We run chess events and each event will have a number of sections and players will enter the section most appropriate for them. We handle this by treating each section as a separate event - not ideal but workable - but seem unable to manually define the order they appear in in the menu list of up and coming events. I assume that events are ordered based on order they were added?

Any way to change this?

Hi!

No, in fact, events are ordered depending of the next date of the event. You have an option to use ascendent or descendent order for dates, in options of the menu-item link to list of events.

Thanks for your reply but you have missed the point. All events are on the SAME day (date) - because actually it is really just one event that has different sections - and therefore a date sort does not help as they are all the same date.

So the question is how do you sort events that happen on the same date? I guess but not tries that I could give them all different start times?
