Hi, my site is built around K2. I am trying to find an event extension that will allow me to treat events like K2 items. So that for a given category, I can have latest events, just like latest news, etc.
Any thoughts?

That is not what I am trying to do. I am trying to create events that can be categorized in K2. I am not trying to link to K2 article. Thanks!

Hello!
iCagenda is using its own categories and can't used other extension categories.
It's not currently in roadmap to do it.
But you can maybe ask K2 team if it's possible to create a plugin to allow this ? (i don't use k2 and don't know its coding as its developers can!
)
And, i don't know an event extension doing it, but you can check the JED, as it's possible that one is doing it
