[SOLVED] AcyMailing / icagenda 404 error page è stato creato da rjames

Hi,

Not sure if this is an AcyMailing or iCagenda issue. Therefor I also posted this on the AcyMailing forum:

I have an issue with AcyMailing and iCagenda and I can't figure it out. Hopefully anyone can help me with this.

I'm using the following:

- AcyMailing Starter 4.8.1.
- iCagenda 3.4.1
- AcyMailing Tag: iCagenda
- Joomla 2.5.28.

Sending out newsletters with AcyMailing works fine and the newsletters show the iCagenda events (using the AcyMailing/iCagenda tags).

The option 'This e-mail contains graphics, if you don't see them » view it online.', within the newsletter, also works fine and it opens the newsletter within the website.

But, when I click on the clickable title, or on the read more link, of an iCagenda event, it results in a '404 error page'.

Here is an example newsletter with the problem:

jamesweb.nl/Voetbalacademy/nieuwsbrief

Select the newsletter 'Nieuwsbrief Play2Improve: Februari 2015'.

Hello,

I have checked, and it's maybe an issue in itemid detection, as i have changed recently the event id routing, to include alias, as it is standard in Joomla (before, i was using a custom way of routing, but to prevent some possible issues in the future when a new routing system will be available in joomla 3 core, i have prefered to go to the standard id:alias couple).

I will contact later the AcyMailing developer to check this with him ;-)

Thanks for your reply and sorry that I didn't place an update yet.

I also posted my question in the AcyMailing forum, because I didn't know if it was an !Cagenda or AcyMailing issue, and today I received the solution

.

I had to enter the correct 'itemid' in the !Cagenda plugin and then it worked. I didn't know I had to set it.

I will this year look more in the Acymailing plugin they have well developed, to see if improvements could be done.

Great your issue was only a plugin setting!
