I have been looking through the documentation, but if I have to write anything in that plugin, I am afraid of doing so. I don't know anything about coding this way.

Have you enabled the extension? Your source code hasen`t change

Or maybe test with another site template (joomla core template, for example, to see the difference)

I disabled the extension Again because I wasn't sure if I was doing it right

Now I enabled it, and it is working.
