[VIEWED] Invalid field when register to an event è stato creato da heleenve

Users can't register for an event if their name contains an apostrophe.
The message says Name: invalid field
Is there a way to fix this without changing the username?

Hello,

Username is using since march 2015 the Joomla username/name checking.

Don't forget that in a username, to use the apostrophe, not the single quote :
- [ ’ ] (apostrophe) : accepted (apostrophe)
- [ ' ] (single quote) : not accepted in a username

The reason is that this field is a username/name mixed one, that means if a user is logged-in, it could be it's username.
