When a member wants to register to an event, all i want is his name and a defined custom field (present yes / no)

In the settings i have set that email registration is not needed.
But when register to an event, i have to fill in email, is this a bug ?
Is there a way to disable this field ?

Hello,

This is "not required".

There is not yet an option to disable this field, but its in the roadmap for registration form improvement ;-)

To do it today, you can edit the view file : ROOT/components/com_icagenda/views/list/tmpl/registration.php
Search for the email fields, and change all type="email" into type="hidden"

This way, the fields (email and email confirmation is used) will be checked, but not visible in the frontend.

Hope this helps?

Best Regards,
Cyril
