Registration form è stato creato da Hedzer

I know in the new version the registration form uses the default joomla forms.

Except, These forms are not that nicely visualized and I liked the registration form of ICagenda.

Is there an (easy) way to include the old registration form in the new ICagenda?

Hello,

Is it possible to have an online link to a registration page on your site ? (this could be a test event).

Maybe your site template does not display correctly the Joomla form core display (used now by iCagenda) ?

A visual access online, could help to see how it is displayed, and how i could see for an improvement as well as a temporary solution for you (with Custom CSS option) ;-)

I have tried to identify the different css parts that make up the icagenda registration form. However i have not been succesful in copying it.

As far as i can see the function is good, so i think it is purely a css problem in my template (purity II)

So, your site template does not have needed css declarations for Joomla core forms...

First, try to copy/paste following css in the Custom CSS option (global option of component > General Settings tab) :

Note: this is a temporary solution, as i will see to develop a special CSS for site templates not working well with Joomla core forms display

Note: you will have too to disable the script and css compression of your site template for all to work as updated files in 3.6 ;-)

Just a question : don't you have in your site template an option to load Bootstrap ?
If yes, so try to disable custom CSS of iCagenda, and activate bootstrap from your site template ;-)

As for bootstrap. as far as i know this is included in purity III and not in purity II.

Well... so to prevent to be used in other places, need to add "#icagenda" before each classes names...
In the same time, seems werid for now to fix all the form... (before 3.6.0, i used a custom css, but was not good to keep consistency with other forms of the site. For this reason, the full refactory is generated all form fields for registration form, using core Joomla layouts for fields. You have the same design for iCagenda registration and joomla registration form. So could be better to fix it in site template for all forms than to fix it in custom CSS...)

Can't you update your site template ?

As to sum-up your issue :
- Your site template does not include Joomla core forms CSS support (even if better if it does, not the main issue, see below)
- Your site template does not manage forms css for all extensions ! (for example, Gantry does not use Joomla core classes, but add custom styles for all form elements!)

I will work on a special option to use a internal styling for iCagenda form (in case of old or not well coded site template for Joomla) but this part is not ready for now...
