[SOLVED] Can edit existing events, get 404 View not found [name, type, prefix]

[SOLVED] Can edit existing events, get 404 View not found [name, type, prefix] è stato creato da LukeDouglas

I can open, edit and save an existing event.

However, whenever I try to save a new event, I get this full error message:

404 View not found [name, type, prefix]: icagenda, html, icagendaView

The strange thing is that it jumps from the admin panel to the front page to display this message.

I re-installed iCagenda with no change. I tested this with another admin template and got the same results. I'm stuck! Anyone have an idea what the heck is going on?

Hello,

THis is the first time someone report such an issue in admin...

Well, to be honnest, i don't see what could give this issue (maybe a conflict with another extension ?).

Do you have turn ON Error Reporting in your Joomla configuration to see if php warning messages displayed on the page ?

And, do you have (when processing) opened the javascript console of your browser (Firefox, Chrome... right on page, and inspect element > console) to see if script errors displayed ?

Well for some reason it is now working. I was able to add a couple of new records with no issues. Very strange.

Also, I don't know why it is happening but every time I try to log into your forums as well as your Pro section, I have to reset the password to log in. This has been going on since I started using iCagenda. I have over 230+ online accounts that I have in my password list and, although I have encountered this situation on other sites but rarely, this is the only site that I have this issue on a consistent basis. For the life of me, I cannot understand why this is happening.

Great your issue is solved, but as you said, you have strange behavior.

As you have a pro account, could you contact me directly by email at info(at)joomlic.com with email address you used for your pro account, so that we could figure why you have issue to login on joomlic sites (using core Joomla login system, which is working for other users...).
