Hi

Is there a configuration to default the user access when events are created on the front-end?

When creating via the back-end admin the default access gets picked up (in my case as registered) however, if a user creates an event on the front-end the default access is set to Public.

Apologies if I have missed the option but I have looked everywhere :-(

Andy

Hello,

Well, a full refactory of frontend form Submit an Event is in process currently for next iCagenda 3.8.
And i will add later some new options for this form ;-)

But today, in admin side, how do you manage to have registered access set as default ?
As this is using core option field from Joomla, where default access is "public".

Regards,
Cyril

Hi

When I create an event as an admin on the back-end the form defaults to Registered. I don't know why this is as there are no options in iCagenda that affects this.

I have tested creating a new event in the back-end as admin with access set to public saving and then creating a new one but access defaults back to Registered.

So not sure :-).

Hello,

You have, i think, another extension that override the default behavior for the access levels option.
Is it the same for Joomla articles ?

Hi

Thanks for that, I can see where this is set now. We have the default access level set to Registered on the site settings config.
