[SOLVED] [Pro Version] how to upgrade from free version è stato creato da smarty-marty

I am a complete newbie to both Joomla and ICAgenda so please excuse my stupidity.

As a newbie wanting to understand how things would work for me and look to site visitors I installed the free version of ICAgenda on a clean install of Joomla5. I have created a number of events and everything is working pretty much as I want. I decided that, as ICAgenda is doing the job I want and is doing it well, I would pay up and subscribe to the Pro version, also to give me the additional functionality and technical support.

However, how to I install the Pro version on top of the free version without risking the content that I have already created?? I have looked but cannot find a set of (idiot proof) installation instructions. Can anyone point me in the right direction ~ please

Hello,

I've already answered on the Pro ticket, but here my answer too to give the information for others.

After purchase of a pro subscription, and creating an account at the same time on www.joomlic.com, user have an acces to download the pro version.
Just download the latest pro version.

And then, on the Joomla admin, go to install extension, and install the pro zipped package.
It will automatically upgrade the free version to the pro one, without lost of data.

Important Note: to not loose data, never uninstall. Just install over. It's working this way for all Joomla extensions, using an install script to control everything for you.
