[SOLVED] German translation doesn't work correctly è stato creato da Tobi

Hi!
I've installed the translation package (icagenda_pkg_2.1.8_de-de) which works fine in the joomla backend, but in the frontend there are still some parts which are not translated, like:

'Upcoming Events'
'There are 19 upcoming events - Seite 1 / 4'

The 'de-DE.com_icagenda.ini' file is located in the correct directory, despite this the translation doesn't work everywhere.

Does anyone have a solution?

A new volunteer has just finished today to translate all the German pack, and i will add it online in a few hours!

Thank you for your quick response.

I compared the german & english .ini files and found out, that some variables are not translated so far.

I added these translations:

COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_UPCOMING_TITLE = "Anstehende Events"
COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_UPCOMING_ONE_EVENT = "Es gibt %s anstehendes Event"
COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_UPCOMING_MANY_EVENTS = "Es gibt %s anstehende Events"
COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_UPCOMING_NO_EVENT = "Keine anstehenden Events!"

COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_TODAY_TITLE = "Heutige Events"
COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_TODAY_ONE_EVENT = "Heute gibt es %s Event"
COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_TODAY_MANY_EVENTS = "Heute gibt es %s Events"
COM_ICAGENDA_HEADER_TODAY_NO_EVENT = "Heute gibt es kein Event!"

By the way: I prefer to translate "event" into "Veranstaltung", which is the correct expression, but i don't want to confuse anyone

German pack updated full in online!

You can update it via Joomla Extension manager.

About 'event', it seems to be the prefered word used by the current translators.

But German seems difficult to translate, as always different propositions...

I think the best it to have the most easy understanding word, and thinking that German pack in Joomla is used too in Switzerland and Austria ;-)
