[VIEWED] Cannot add category in ICAgenda è stato creato da Chris

Hi,

I just installed ICagenda 1.2.3. The module is working, only I am experiencing a problem with the component. when I open the component and want to add and save a category, I get an error message (see attached). Can you please help? Thanks.

It's seems a problem as you are testing in localhost...

I don't see all the information in your picture...

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.14
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!

I am indeed running on localhost.
This is the message which I get back in the category section:

Opslaan mislukt door de volgende fout: iCagendaTablecategory: :opslaan mislukt
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near ')'.SQL=INSERT INTO [jos_icagenda_category] () VALUES ()

There must have a problem in my coding... perhaps it works better on local, on a linux server... I will have to make test on local.....

You can try in local using www.uwamp.com/

i've made the test with XAMPP on mac, and no problem. Everething is working well.

make sure that, in local :
folders are all in chmod 777
Apache: OK
mySQl: OK

It must work, as for me, it works on XAMPP. (joomla 2.5.7, iCagenda install 1.2.3)

Chris, are you using iCagenda on joomla 1.5 ?

I am using the following:
- Webmatrix 2
- Joomla 2.5
- ICagenda 1.2.3

If I open the database in webmatrix, the table jos_icagenda_catogory is missing by the way.

Did you solved your problem ?

You may can create the missing database using install.sql...
