Hi,

Thanks for the wonderful extension for free!!

It would be nice to have Drop-Down list of Countries and corresponding Cities while entering and also a Search option/module to search events by countries & cities.

Thanks & Best Regards,
Cardin

Thanks ! :)

About the search function or module, i'm thinking of it!

Maybe something with filters...

About list of countries or town, need a distant server like Google with maps, to be able to get the date, as to include them in iCagenda will be too much bytes ! (maybe i will have a look if it is possible with Google, as it is for GoogleMaps adresse...)

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.7

Is there any progress on front-end event entry? I contacted you last year and estimated at that time that it might available in March, 2013.
Thanks

Hi...

sry but I lost the overview in this topic, so I share just my thoughts.

iCagenda is a very usefull module, but some functions are still needed to be more convenient for users and administrators.
  • Sometimes I don't need more than one event registration per user.

  • I've seen, iCagenda doesn't care about the user-informations.
I think it would be a nice feature to check the registration details of the Joomla user lists. This will avoid spam

  • It's also usefull, if there's anywhere a Link to the terms and conditions or a disclaimer and a checkbox for a confirmation. A registration should not be possible without the checkbox

iCagenda is a great tool. Thank you! B)

I'm currently working on it, and planned for release 2.2 ! ;) (maybe end of March in beta for Pro users, and April in free version, when stable!)

Thanks, but... mybe you can read the first message of this topic, as it is a summer of all wishes (accepted) and future features in Roadmap : www.joomlic.com/en/forum/icagenda-announ...e-in-future-versions
B)

About Terms acceptation, i will add it in the list, but that was something i was thinking of, but most needed if ticket selling (maybe one feature to be developp in the future)

When front-end event adding is available, will there be a means by which the client can control who is able to add or modify what events. They are need to allow customers renting their facility to enter their own events but only their own events.

Thanks

It's now possible to register multiple times for an event. By adding a unique index on the underlying table, this prevents this issue. However, you'll have to add some coding to trap this error...

Is it possible to add an "unscubscribe from this event" link in the confirmation email?

I would like to have the option for past/all/future events in the calendar module also. Right now, it's possible to click on a past event. That's ok if this is your intention, however I would like to display future events only. So on March 31, I only see past events in the calendar for that month
