I don't have forgotten your case, but i was busy with adding security, and solving an issue, as in developpement, fixing some bugs, and Pro support.
The problem is still the same : i don't have any problem myself with ACL front-end.
And since more than one month, nobody report me such a problem.
Today, don't have time to reproduce your configuration, and i think it can be lost time, as not sure to have all the needed configuration, and else...
If you have possibility to have a link online (and not local) and an access to admin, there, i will be to speed up to see the issue...
This may be not possible for you, as i've already ask you, and no answer...
But, i've changed in some places the way access levels is controlled (don't think this could change something for you, but as sometimes things are mysterious...)
So, could you test with last release 3.1.7, the new options to display information, google maps, and so on... in Global Options of the component. You will find ACL options.
So, can you try to set them to see if it has an effect in front-end ?
If it is working for this new options, the problem can come from the SQL request to display the list of events...
So, without a look in context, i can't do nothing...
