Ciao anche io ho riscontrato questo problema, non sono molto esperto ma ho risolto modificando il file della lingua language/it-IT/it-IT.com_icagenda.ini.
Ho aggiunto:
COM_ICAGENDA_EVENT_FILE="File allegato"
COM_ICAGENDA_EVENT_DOWNLOAD="Scarica il file dell'evento"
nella sezione Event Details

l'ho installato su Joomla 2.5.4 su un mio sito di test, penso di aver installato l'ultima versione, scaricata ieri sera da joomlahost.it

Yes, it was missing in it-IT translation.
I'll make a lnguage pack with correction.
But i need something shorter in italian for :
COM_ICAGENDA_EVENT_DOWNLOAD = "Download"
?
