Could you register to an event in frontend, then trash this registration, and empty registrations trash box to definitely remove this registration.

Then, create a registered event, after trash this event, and empty events trash box to definitely remove this event.

After that, try a new test registration in frontend.

I think (thanks to your latest screen shot) issue was with not well removed custom fields for events, so they may be removed by empty trash of an event.

1. Registered to an event as ID 32
2. Deleted registration
3. emptied trash
4. Created an event
5. Deleted it, emptied trash

Just pausing with registrations for a moment: Current ID: 31

In fact,

After searching a long time to understand your issue, it was not related to old bug! (so trashing was not a solution in your case).

The issue was an error of mine in the latest versions, with the notification email and display in admin registrations list, with a missing parent_form checking... (so was returning custom fields of event with same ID of registration).

I attached a version with a fix.
Could you install it and test it, to see if issue is solved ? (in fact, no problem with database ;-) )

Thank you!
Best regards,
Cyril

Cyrill,

a loud puuuuhhhhh about the correct database ...
I installed your fix and now the registration-list - seems - to show the right things but actually listed are only the required fields, optional ones are missing. Maybe they should be re-added in some future release (like showing non-empty-ones)?
The testing of the registration itself is not that easy, because because I'm not the one who gets the admin-mails and as I mentioned the optional fields don't show up in the list.
I will contact our course-admin and will see, what he says.
Anyway, a big "Thank you" for fixing this!
Frank

Did a test-registration - waiting for our admin to answer.

I just noticed that the user confirmation-email has no subject. I suggest it to be like "Your registration to ... at ...."

Hi!

but actually listed are only the required fields, optional ones are missing. Maybe they should be re-added in some future release (like showing non-empty-ones)?

It is supposed to display only the filled fields (required or not is not filtered by this function).
About listing, do you mean in admin registrations list ? Or in user notification email ?

I just noticed that the user confirmation-email has no subject. I suggest it to be like "Your registration to ... at ...."

Do you have access to global options of the component ?
If yes, do you use custom notification emails, or default notification emails ?
If custom emails, maybe the subject field is empty...

Regards,
Cyril

Emails:
A deeper look at the options shows that we are using custom emails:

"Use Default (multi-language)" is at "custom email"

The subject is not empty -> see attachment

Custom fields:
After thinking about it :) the registrations-list is ok. It shows the required fields of the registration form.

I was a little bit confused because in the buggy list - view icagenda showed all kinds of custom field informations. In our case these were text-fields, in which the admin provided additional informations to the pupil who were booking the courses. At our site we have approx 50 courses - who can remember all course details? By looking at the registrations-list the admin could then distinguish these bookings at a first view and remember what course - specialities there are. The list itself would be longer but maybe some users find these additional informations helpful. Perhaps the easiest implementation would be a switch at the customs-field-admin-page like "Show this information in the registrations-list".
Overall this seems to me like a special feature for what I would I have never asked if there hadn't been this bug ...
And I admit I didn't really thought about it very deeply ...

So, do you mean that custom fields is ok for registrations ? (fixed ?)

About this request, you mean you would like to see event's custom fields inside the right part of a registration, where event details are displayed ? Maybe with an option in each custom field edit, to show or not this info inside the admin registrations list ?

About the custom emails, the subject is "empty". The text you see is the placeholder. (in grey. if you click in the field, you will see that text disapears, and you can't edit it, as no real text entered)
Note that i will remove this placeholder for something like "Fill-in the subject and body for your custom email..." and set an empty text for body on new install, in version 3.6.0 ;-)

In fact, many changes planned and in process (or already coded) for 3.6.0, so the first step with 3.5.x series is to fix all issues in existing features, as 3.6.0 may not be available as stable before end of October.

Could you confirm issues are fixed ?
Thank you!

Best Regards,
Cyril
