I have an event scheduled on 2 August 2014 from 10:00 to 14:00.
10 tickets are available. I wish to have person sign up and select a date and time.

Every time I added the single date with the multiple time slots of 10:00, 10:30, 11:00 etc.
it does not save.

Please help.

website is: www.karenshobbs.com/khobbsphotography

I've attached a word document detailing each step I used to create the date with 10 time intervals. Good news! This time it worked and was visible again after I closed and re-opened the web page.

I do have other issues in creating the event that need to be address or provide me advice as to how I can modify the settings.

Issues: an email is not sent to me on the web as to the person's information that signed up for the event. Since this is a photography mini session, it is important that I contact them to make sure the person/pet is properly groomed/dressed to make the session successful.

Also the person who signed up for the event did receive a confirmation on the screen of the web page (which is good and provides instant feedback). However, I would like an email to be generated to them also.

Another issue is one of double booking. I tested it and the form allowed two different users to select the same time interval of 10:30 am.

Please advise as to what settings I need to do to resolve this or let me know if this feature needs to be added.

Hello,

I'm sorry, having screen shot in picture format is so much faster for me to have a quick look at!...

So, i not yet having look at this screen shots (in word format compressed in zip...! lol), but it seems you have solve the issue about dates display, as it was just a cache issue ?

Issues: an email is not sent to me on the web as to the person's information that signed up for the event. Since this is a photography mini session, it is important that I contact them to make sure the person/pet is properly groomed/dressed to make the session successful.

It is by default Joomla global email. But you have other options (more!) in global options of the component iCagenda.
;-)

Also the person who signed up for the event did receive a confirmation on the screen of the web page (which is good and provides instant feedback). However, I would like an email to be generated to them also.

So, it seems your joomla mailer is not well set.
Have a look in global configuration of Joomla. But if you have no emails, try contact form of joomla, is should be the same problem.

Regards,
Cyril
