Dude thats the most awesom reply Ive ever gotten explaining all my answers, well done and 10 points to you for awesomeness!!

If you need someone to test it I would be absolutely love to help you out with that. I have developed a gaming website that we use quite extensively and we use the calendar to arrange matches and so forth, the nice thing about that is that if something breaks its not critical and can be fixed whenever instead of breaking a production site.

If you want a live site to test on and tweak wherever necesarry, I would not mind giving you access to our site and helping you test the front end events upload. Feel free to rope me in where you feel fit. Otherwise I will wait for the RC, our members are very excited by that as well

Hey there,

What an amazing product. Long time I was looking for such rsvp-joomla-component.

These features would be great:

- Add custom fields
Already read in the forum that's possible with registration.php and additions-field in the DB.
But it would be awesome if this is possible within the component

- Unsubscribe / unregister
It would be great if the user can unsubscribe/unregister for an event he has himself registered for

- Registered event View
Give users a view, where they can see for which events they have themself registered for

- Invitation
Send invitation for an event to a mailing-list or registered users

- Add more status
Attending, Not-Attending, Maybe-Attending, No-Response (if it was send by invitation)

- Repeating Events
Create repeating events (daily, monthly, weekly, every year)

- Alerting / Notifying
Send automatically mails at a specific time before the event

- Comments
Let the users add comments for the event
Possibility to ask question to the organizer / event creator

It would be awesome if there will be some of these features integrated.

Go on with your greate tool.

cheers!

Hi Lyric
iCagenda is a very good event managing tool.

We have following need withing the event managing:

We are a divers club and we organize diving events. After diving, we also do a barbecue. At the barbecues, not only the divers are welcome, but all our families. So to be able to plan the dive and the barbecue, we need to know, how many people are going to dive and how many people are goint to eat.

It would be great, if an event could be splittet in different event-parts (eg: diving, barbecue) and if a member could be able to register himself and other persons (eg: his family) for this different events parts.

About the "Note" box, this is planned for september (answer to your email) ;-)

And, i will begin too the developpement of the personal fields for registration form (as noted in roadmap). THis way, it will be possible to add extra fields such as "diving" "barbecue".. or to have a different field for number of "tickets" (for example, not a list, but a text field)

In fact, many improvements, and features wll be implemented, and i will add different types of registration.
So, you may find functions to suit your needs in the weeks (months) to come, as it is the next big developpement to come (just after adding events in front-end) !

So, in September, i will add more details about features to come for registration form! :cheer:

Thanks ivodeb!

Printable list, and filter are a good idea!
As you can test in 3.1.7, i've enhanced the search field (was working only before with event's title)
And other filter will come, as by category.

Printable list is a good idea!
Will add it in the roadmap! ;-)

Hi Lyr!C, is there any news on creating events in the front end perhaps? Do you have any idea of when that would be ready?
